Tiny Transit Beta

Your line. In 3D.

It's a beta: new, and still being tuned. It prints on the same printers, in the same spools and frames as our city models, and we check every beta order by hand before it prints. If anything needs a change, we email you first.

Terracotta Line

Your line, raised.

Pick your city and your line. It prints raised above the streets in terracotta.

Station Dots

Every stop, raised.

A raised dot at every station on the line, from the city's own transit data.

Your Stop

Your station, marked.

Pick your station to centre the square on it, then tap its building in the preview to mark it, the way you mark a home on a city model.

Neighbourhood or network

Your stop, or the whole system.

Zoom in on the streets around your station, or out to fit more of the network: the 20 × 20 in frame holds about 11 km across.

For people who know the map by heart.

Transit fans

You've ridden every line to the end of the line. Now hang it on the wall.

Commuters

The ride that got you to work, to school or home, every day for years.

Moving away

A goodbye gift for a friend leaving the city, with their station marked.

Opening day

A new line opens once in a generation. Frame the one you waited for.

Questions? Answers.

Which cities work?

Ten for now, subway and metro lines only: Berlin, Boston, Chicago, London, Montréal, New York, Paris, San Francisco, Toronto and Vancouver. The lines come from each transit system's published timetable data (GTFS), and London's from OpenStreetMap. We draw our own map: it won't copy the official diagram or the transit company's logos.

Why one line, in terracotta?

Our printers hold five colours at once. With the land, the water, the parks and the streets, that leaves room for one line, on all four palettes here: Tiny Hometown, Night, Chalk and Charcoal.

A line is missing or looks wrong

We update the lines by hand from each city's transit data. Tell us in the checkout notes and we'll check it before printing.

What's beta about it?

It's a beta: new, and still being tuned. It prints on the same printers, in the same spools and frames as our city models, and we check every beta order by hand before it prints. If anything needs a change, we email you first.

Explore the line-up.

One studio. Four ways to frame a place.
