Tiny Race

Every kilometre. Framed.

It prints on the same printers, in the same spools and frames as our city models, at the same prices.

Course Ribbon

Your course, raised.

The line you ran or rode, printed a little above the streets in terracotta, so you can trace it with a finger.

Start and Finish Dots

Where it began. Where it ended.

A raised dot at the start line and another at the finish.

Finish Time Plaque

The numbers that matter.

Add the plaque and engrave your distance, time and date. Something like 42.2 km · 3:28:41 · May 2027.

Fit to the course

Every course fits, whole.

A 5 km loop fits at the scale of our city models. A half or a full marathon zooms out until the whole course fits, on every size, even Boston's 42 km from Hopkinton: streets print in black, bridges and hills show, and on the longest courses only the main roads, so the course stands out. Single buildings don't show that far out.

Made for the milestones.

Runners

A first marathon, a Boston qualifier, a personal best, an ultra, or the loop you've run a thousand times.

Cyclists

A first 100 km, a Gran Fondo, a mountain pass, or the commute you've ridden every day for years.

Triathletes

The bike course and the run course of the race that took a season to train for.

The people cheering

A finish-line gift for a partner, a friend or a whole run club.

Questions? Answers.

Do I need a GPX file?

No. Pick a race (NYC Marathon, Boston Marathon, Chicago Marathon, London Marathon, Berlin Marathon, Sydney Marathon, Tokyo Marathon or Toronto Waterfront Marathon; the search finds a few more by name), or tap "Draw your own", then your start and each turn: the line follows the streets and paths. Drag a turn to move it, and tap the start again to close a loop. Or add a GPX file: on Strava, open the activity, click the three dots and choose Export GPX; on Garmin Connect, open the activity, click the gear and choose Export to GPX. Tiny Race isn't connected to any of them.

How exact are the race courses?

They follow each race's own course map, or OpenStreetMap's where we couldn't get the race's. Courses change a little from year to year: if yours ran differently, draw it or add your GPX file. We check every Tiny Race order by hand before printing.

Will a whole marathon fit?

Yes, on every size. "Fit my course" zooms out until the whole course fits: Boston fits on the 8 × 8 in frame at about 1:230,000, New York at 1:150,000. That far out the streets get too fine to show and the main roads stay, so the course is what you see. On the bigger frames the course prints bolder: 1.6 mm wide on 8 × 8 in, 2 mm on 10 × 10 in, 3.2 mm on 20 × 20 in.

What colour is the route?

Terracotta, on all four palettes here: Tiny Hometown, Night, Chalk and Charcoal. On Tiny Hometown the streets print black and the parks stay green, so the city shows around your course like a map.

What goes on the plaque?

Your race, your finish time and the month, like Berlin Marathon · 3:28:41 · Sep 2026, up to 40 characters. Fill in the three boxes under the plaque, or type your own.

Explore the line-up.

One studio. Four ways to frame a place.
