Shipping and returns

Every model is made to order in Vancouver, then shipped tracked. Shipping is free to Canada, the US, the UK, Europe and Switzerland, and we ship to Australia, New Zealand, Japan and many other countries for a shipping fee by size. Prices are in your own currency.

How long it takes

Where shipping isn't free, it's charged per model, since each one travels in its own box.

The shop page shows a delivery date for today's order next to the Buy button. Your order page, linked from your receipt, shows when it's printing and when it ships, and you'll get a tracking number by email the day it ships.

Before Christmas, the shop shows the last day to order for delivery in time to where you are. The holiday order-by dates page lists them for other holidays too.

Customs, duty and tax: paid by us

Every model is made here in Vancouver and ships to you duty-paid, wherever you are. We pay the import duty, the import VAT or sales tax and the carrier's fees, so the total at checkout is all you pay and there's nothing to pay when it arrives.

• United States: nothing to pay on delivery. We pay the import duty.
• United Kingdom and Europe: nothing to pay on delivery. We pay the VAT and any carrier fees.
• Switzerland: nothing to pay on delivery. We pay the VAT and the carrier's fee.
• Australia, New Zealand, Japan and the rest of the world: nothing to pay on delivery. We pay the duty and tax your country charges.

If a carrier ever asks you for a fee anyway, email us a photo of the notice and we'll pay you back.

Where we ship

Shipping is free to Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, the Isle of Man and the Channel Islands, every EU country, Norway, Iceland, Andorra, Monaco, San Marino, Switzerland and Liechtenstein.

For a flat shipping fee by size we also ship to Australia, New Zealand, Japan and these countries: Bahrain, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Hong Kong, India, Israel, Kuwait, Malaysia, Mexico, Oman, Panama, Peru, Philippines, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, South Africa, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand and United Arab Emirates.

Gifts

Tick "This is a gift" and we leave prices out of the box and print your note on a card. Enter the recipient's address at checkout.

Damaged or faulty?

If your model arrives damaged or faulty, email a photo to hello@tinyhometown.com within 7 days of delivery and we'll make you a new one, free. You don't need to send the broken one back.

Returns

Each model is made for you, so we can't take returns or refunds for a change of mind. If you need to change or cancel an order, email us as soon as you can; before printing starts we can usually adjust it or refund you in full.
