A gift for someone moving away, or a long way from home
For the friend leaving town, the parents who just sold the family house, or the person who hasn't lived in their hometown for twenty years. The streets they know by heart, framed in 3D.
Who it's for
- A friend or coworker leaving town. The neighbourhood you shared, with the office, the bar and their old place marked.
- Parents downsizing. The street you all grew up on, with the family home marked in colour. They keep the house, in a way.
- Grandparents. The town they came from, or the one they raised everyone in.
- Anyone who moved for work or school. Their hometown for the new apartment wall.
Small towns work too
Every address is in the designer, not just big cities. In a small town most buildings are houses, so zoom in to 1.5× or 2×: an 8 × 8 in at 2× covers about 500 m across, and every house is big enough to pick out.

Questions
They're moving abroad.
We ship free to the UK, Europe and Switzerland, and to many other countries for a fee by size, so you can send it to their new address. We pay any import duty and taxes, so they won't get a bill at the door. Or ship it to yourself and hand it over before they go; it comes framed and boxed.
The house they grew up in has been torn down.
The model shows the map as it is today, from OpenStreetMap. If the building is gone, mark the lot or the closest building and say what it was on the plaque.
Can several of us chip in?
Yes. One person orders, and "Share this design" sends everyone the 3D preview first so you can agree on the area and the plaque.
